This six-DVD set contains a descriptive report and digital files created from the Seismic Safety Investigation of Eight SCS Dams in Southwestern Utah project performed for the Soil Conservation Service. This compilation of the project includes two separate scanned reports and 798 scanned low-sun-angle photographs (frames) taken mainly along the Washington and Hurricane fault zones to image certain topographic features, such as fault scarps and traces, for mapping purposes. The digital files include aerial photograph scans in TIFF format and index maps in Google Earth KMZ, GIS ERSI File Geodatabase, and Adobe PDF formats. Specialized software (not included) is required to utilize the Google Earth and GIS files, and can be downloaded from the Internet.

These aerial photographs will be useful for professionals involved with paleoseismology investigations; geological, geotechnical, and environmental assessment and investigation projects; land-use planning; governmental agencies; and for the general public and others are a historical archive.
