This self-initiating CD-ROM contains,, a report and 228 digital black-and-white, land-based and aerial photomosaics which cover about 80 miles (160 km) of the Upper Cretaceous Ferron Sandstone outcrop belt in east-central Utah. Also included are 43 measured stratigraphic sections, and core descriptions and photographs from the four UGS Ivie Creek drill holes.

The report describes the basic regional stratigraphy and three case-study areas, and the data locations and field methods to produce the photomosaics an measured sections. These photomosaics and other information can be used for educational and industry training purposes, as guides for field work reservoir models, and for facies analysis.
