The study of rock falls is important because they are the most common landslides in mountainous and hilly areas and they regularly impact humans. This compilations helps answer questions such as (1) When do rock falls occur?, (2) Where do rock falls occur?, (3) What does a rock fall damage?, and (4) What causes rock falls? This is a history of 53 events in Utah that were recorded between 1887 and 1999.
